Many local residents get in touch from across the constituency to say that the condition of local roads is not good enough.

Between 2019 – 2023, Bolton Conservatives prioritised repairing roads across the whole Borough with 400 additional roads resurfaced – which equated to 9.4 miles of new road surface. Prior to this, under the previous Labour administration, the Council only resurfaced 880 yards of road in one year.

Today, I am launching my Pothole Patrol, calling for more action to be taken to fix our local roads. Please do take a couple of minutes to let me know your views by filling in the survey below.

2. With so many cars being damaged by potholes and car insurance premiums going up, do you believe that Bolton Council needs to re-prioritise road repairs?
In his budget speech, the Labour leader of Bolton Council stated that he would “would not prioritise potholes."

Chris Green MP is launching a pothole patrol across Bolton West. Previously through similar campaigns I have been able to get Bolton Council to repair a large number of damaged roads.
